Who we are & what we do

Dear Parent/Carer,

You may be aware that the Scottish Borders Council funding for Peebles High School has been drastically reduced over the past few years. The impact of this means that many of the resources, facilities and activities previously experienced and enjoyed by former pupils are no longer available to your son or daughter. Nor does this take into account the Scottish Government cuts announced for 2010-11, therefore the current situation is only going to get worse.

Clearly it is not up to parents or carers alone to fund this deficit. However one simple way you can help is by joining the 200 Club. For only £1 per month you can have the quarterly chance of winning either £100, £50 or £25. Names of winners are displayed on this website.

The parent/carer community of Peebles High School consists of approximately 1200 adults. If everyone were to subscribe to the 200 Club this would generate uo to £15000p.a. which would at least go some way towards addressing the current financial situation. As you can see, your contribution really would make a difference.
